By using this website, registering through our forms, or applying for membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Informational content — not professional advice

Everything published on this website — articles, guides, FAQs, and responses from our online assistant — is general information about industrial hemp and IHA's activities. It is not legal, medical, or financial advice.

2. Membership and fees

Membership tiers, eligibility, and current fees are described on membership.html. Membership is granted at IHA's discretion in accordance with its rules. Membership fees are non-refundable once a membership is activated, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Fees and tier structures may change for future renewal periods; changes do not affect a membership term already paid for.

3. Acceptable use

When using this website, its forms, or the "Ask IHA" assistant, you agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or impersonating information in any registration or membership form;
• use the site to promote, arrange, or facilitate any activity that is illegal under Indian central or state law, including unlicensed cultivation or sale of cannabis;
• attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the website, its server, or its forms, or to scrape or harvest other users' personal data;
• use the "Ask IHA" assistant for abusive, unlawful, or automated bulk queries;
• misrepresent yourself as a member, officer, or representative of IHA.

We may suspend or withdraw access, and decline or revoke membership applications, for breach of these terms.

4. Intellectual property

The Indian Hemp Association name, the IHA logo, and the content of this website belong to IHA or its licensors. You may read, link to, and share our content for personal and non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not use the IHA name or logo — including to suggest membership, endorsement, or affiliation — without our prior written permission.

5. "Ask IHA" assistant disclaimer

The "Ask IHA" assistant generates automated responses using an AI service. Its answers may contain errors, may be incomplete, and may not reflect the latest regulations. They are not professional advice of any kind and do not represent official positions of IHA. Verify important information independently, and do not submit sensitive personal information in chat (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Limitation of liability

This website and its content are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, IHA, its office-bearers, and its members are not liable for any loss or damage — including loss of profit, business, crops, or licences — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website, its content, or the "Ask IHA" assistant.
